This summer's been great so far...I went to Arizona last week and it was so much fun...I took a ton of pictures for everyone to see too! Josh's oldest brother Neil got married to Kelly and the whole family went down there for it. It was so much fun and I definitely never wanted it to end! I got so much closer to Lizzy, Dawn, and Kelly and I can't wait to marry Josh now. It was definitely a week that I'm never going to forget. Getting to meet all of Kelly's family was great too, her dad is awesome and I loved meeting Meg, her maid of honor. We talked a lot and are keeping in touch which is so cool cause she's friggin awesome! For the most part we just sat around the pool all day hanging out with the younger kids and then at night we would sit outside out hotel rooms, drinking beer and whiskey and talking until 4 in the morning. Then it would start all over again at 6:30 in the morning. Everyone was dog tired the entire time, but everyone still had a great time soaking everything all in. The trip did have one major downfall and that was that I lost my engagement ring. We think that I lost it while I was in the pool and someone else found it and took it because after about 3 hours of everyone searching for it and maintenance in the hotel looking for it too, we still couldn't find it. I probably bawled my eyes out for 6 hours straight and my eyes were so poofy that I could barely open them. But overall everything went great and I loved it down there and I pretty much want to move out west somewhere now and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take much to convince Josh to move out there as well! Here are the pics...just to warn there are a bazillion of them!

On Saturday most of the Tallents went back to Michigan and Nick and I drove Meg to the airport...on our way there we stopped at Saguaro National Forest

The next day we went to Tombstone Arizona and it was pretty cool!

Things are definitely looking up for me right now, there are only things to look forward to right now and nothing to really worry about. I only have one more final and it's definitely the easiest one and its at 7:45 am and then I'm done. :) I think that I've done pretty good in my classes this semester...I'm thinking I'll get a 4.0 in my CEP special education class, a 3.0 in BS111 and hopefully a 4.0 in the lab. I'm really hoping to get a 4.0 in my environmental ethics class, but I'm really on the bubble right now so we'll see. English I'm pretty sure I got a 3.5 in...so overall not too shabby. My roommates are moving out right now and I'm so excited for them to be gone...ugh! Hopefully the new roomies won't be as bad as they were. Keara and Josh are both done with their entire college career and that is crazy to me!! This entire school year has flown by wayyyyyyyy too fast!

There are only 9 days left until my birthday and I can't friggin wait! I'm going to be having such a great time on and after my birthday getting drunk! hehe. I don't know exactly what the plans are as of right now...but I'm thinking that saturday night (the 13th) I'm going to have a few people over at my house in Skee town and then I'll go buy some booze at midnight and then drink a little. The next day is mother's day and my birthday so I think I'm going to go out to dinner with my family and Josh. My mom said she wants to buy me my first drink. :) She's so cute! So whoever's going to be in Muskegon around those times we need to get together to celebrate. I'm also going to have a nice big party either at my apartment or at Josh's apartment a couple days after my birthday too.

Also at the end of June, Josh's older brother Neil is getting married to Kelly in Arizona. Josh and I have been trying to plan how we're getting out there and I think the two of us have decided that it would be a lot better to fly out there instead of driving. I love road trips but I can't really afford to take more than a week off of work to drive down there. I think Josh's parents or Neil are going to help us pay for the tickets a little bit too so that's definitely going to help. Buttttt even if they didn't help, I would make sure to find the money somehow because....hello, they are getting married. That = huge deal and I wouldn't let myself miss it. I would be SOOO sad if I didn't get to go, and when Josh and I finally get married, I would be heartbroken if they weren't able to make it.

1. I can be overly emotional about silly things that shouldn't bother me, making the problem seem like a bigger deal than it actually is.
2. I don't like having a lot of friends that I'm not that close with, I have 5 or 6 really good friends and that's enough to get me through
3. I love playing games...hanging out with friends, chilling, having a couple drinks and playing games is a perfect night
4. I don't think there's a person out there who gets me better than Josh does...I love him to death!
5. Before the end of each school semester I have to rewrite all my notes to better organize them.

Time for a real entry...its been a while again, I've been way too overly busy this semester and it makes me sad because I can't do all the things that I want to do or spend time with the people I want to spend time with. This week has been really crappy...
--My car broke down on Thursday, so I had to drop $450 dollars to get that fixed, luckily my parents said they'll pay me back for it.
--Last night at work I accidently sprayed chemical cleaner in my eye and had to go to the ER to get it looked at...not fun! It ended up being fine, but I have to put in these special eye drops every hour to make sure it doesn't get infected or something....I don't know...but that was covered by my work so I didn't have to pay anything! :)

I was planning on writing more...but I have to get some stuff done before I go into work...

Well after long delay, I'm finally getting around to updating and posting pics, dating back to Manda's 21st birthday. I can't believe that it's taken me so long to get around to it. But anyways, nothing too exciting has been happening lately. I found another job at Auntie Anne's and they're training me to be a manager which is nice because I'll finally be making lots of money again. My first day was on this past Wednesday and everything went pretty well. It's pretty easy to catch on and the other workers all seem to be pretty cool. I think I'm definitely going to enjoy this job a lot better than Meijer.

Josh and Keara are both graduating in May and I can't believe it. Time has flown by these past few years and it doesn't seem like they should already be done with college. Yesterday Keara got a call saying that she got a job at a hospital on U of M's campus that she's going to begin on May 15th. I'm so excited for her!!! YAY!

Josh and I kinda decided what we're going to do in the coming years, but it's still a little up in the air. Since most of the jobs that Josh wants require a year of experience, he's going to try to find a lab job on campus so that he'll be able to stay in Lansing with me for another year, and in May we're going to pick a date and begin planning more seriously for the wedding. I saw the most beautiful dresses in the mall last night and if they come in a light green and Keara likes them, that's definitely the one we're getting!! :) Now I just need to start looking for a wedding dress for me! so exciting!!

I also talked to my advisor about the next couple of years and how long it's going to take me to graduate...which unfortunately, isn't going to happen until Spring of 08. Yuck! I really wish that I could get out earlier than that, but there's not really anything I can do about that. So yep, 2 more years left of school.

My birthday is exactly two months away now! I'm getting so excited, I can't WAIT to finally be 21!!!! YAY! But anyways, not much more to write...so here are the pics!

Just a quick update....

Last weekend was fucking amazing! I loved celebrating Manda's birthday with her....it was definitely a lot of fun to hang out with her all weekend long and stay up until all hours of the night with her 2 nights in a row! I have pictures that I need to post, but my sister is borrowing my digital camera right now, so unfortunately the update will have to wait until Tuesday evening. I also finally got to see Kirsten and Layna again, which was super cool. We all had way too much fun on Friday night. :)

Other than that, theres not to much else going on....I will have the pictures up in my next entry.

Classes have started up again and I think this semester might work out pretty good. I'm taking five classes and I don't have friday classes at all! YAY!

CEP240: First class of the week, 3 hours long at eight oclock in the morning...ugh. But this is a teaching class that focuses on children with special needs....should be pretty interesting.
ENG310C: English class with a pretty smart TA, read books from the 19th century. I like that time period so it should be pretty fun.
IAH231B: Environmental writing class, excited for the debates that are going to go on in the class, but the best part of this class is that Keara is in it with me!!!! We had no idea til we were sitting in the class together. SO EXCITED!!!
BS111: Biology, fun stuff.
BS111L: Biology lab, my lab partner is pretty cool and we always sit by each other during lecture now...I like the lab so far...except the time is from 7 pm to 9:50 pm and this past week, we didn't get out until 11:15. I was pissed!

Things I'm looking forward to:
-Going home this weekend to hang out with my bestest friend in the world to celebrate her 21st birthday! YAY!
-This past saturday marked four months until my 21st birthday. I'm getting way excited about that. It's so close but still so far away and I just want it to be here. I think it's close when I say it's less than four months away, but then I think about it and that means that the semester that is just beginning is going to be completely over by the time I do turn 21. That makes it seem forever away.
-Keara and Josh are both graduating in May and I'm so proud of both of them. It's so cool that they've both made it!

But now it's time to get back to homework...I think that I have to read about 250 pages or so by tomorrow, some by wednesday. I can totally do it if I become a loser and lock myself in my room for the next few days. So I'm getting to that now......

CHRISTMAS!

I haven't updated in a while again, but now I have a lot to update on....

School was pretty good. I did ok in my classes, but my overall GPA went down from a 3.48 to a 3.40. Not too bad but I still wish that I could have done better. I'm just really glad that this semester is over. Everything was just way too stressful and hopefully next semester will go a lot better. I think I've decided that I need to just finish school as soon as possible and get my degree. I can't wait until Josh and I get married. We have decided to have a really small wedding and I'm relieved about that.

Winter break has been awesome. I stayed in East Lansing for a couple days to finish up work, and I quit Meijer and my last day was supposed to be on Wednesday, but I called into work! :) Monday I drove to Detroit with Josh to go pick up Neil and Kelly from the airport. When we got back to East Lansing, I was supposed to go home to Muskegon to hang out with Manda for the night, but I locked my keys in the car and couldn't get into it until the next day....so I couldn't get into my apartment or anything. So the four of us drove to Mount Pleasant after we picked up Ayden (Neil's son) and headed to Nick and Mallory's apartment. That was so much fun! I'm glad that I got to hang out with Kelly and Mallory cause we definitely got in some bonding time...along with a lot of drinking. Mallory and I still wanted to drink after we finished all of the alcohol so we walked to the store with Nick and he bought some for us. Good times, good times.

Christmas Eve was spent with my family and Josh. We exchanged presents early and I got a digital camera, Cruel Intentions, and a video game that I love from Josh. I got Josh tea cups, a tea book, tea glasses, a game, coasters, barbeque sauce from Famous Dave's, and 50 horror classics. I got a ton of clothes from my parents, a new desk chair, really nice pens, body spray, driving gloves, and $150. Keara got me a picture frame that she put a pic of us from her wedding in and a bunch of body stuff from Victoria's Secret. Christmas day was spent at Josh's and we exchanged presents again. I got a penguin sweatshirt, a blanket, and 2 books from Josh's parents. From lizzy I got a picture frame that she made, a pink wind chime, and a little Madagascar penguin.

Yesterday I spent with my lovely Manda and her family. We exchanged presents and watched Friends while the boys made a bookcase and drank beer. I got the coolest penguin from them! It's so big and I love it! Manda also died my hair on Friday so it's all cute again! We are almost done with Friends, we only have the last disk on season 10 left! Yay for us! I can't wait to see her again!

Tomorrow I'm heading to Mount Pleasant to hang out with Mike and Josh, gonna be tons of fun! and now here are some pics from the weekend!

Quick update:

Exams are going spectacular!!! One more to go and then I'm completely done for the entire year!! YAY for me!

I only have about 4 or 5 more shifts at meijer and then I don't have to deal with those stupid people anymore! I CANNOT wait for that!

I had such a great weekend! Friday I went home to Muskegon to see Joe and Lizzy in the Singing Christmas Tree with Josh, Mal, and Nick. It was soooo good this year! After tree we all went home and played clue and sorry. That was so much fun. I can't believe how violent and competitive the sorry games got! I won the first one, Nick won the second, and Mallory won clue. But it was so much fun! I really want to go to Mount Pleasant when finals are done cause after this weekend I realized how much I miss hanging out with Mallory and Nick! It's always such a good time hanging out with Josh's family.

Saturday, I didn't wake up until 11:45!!! I can't believe I slept that long....it was so nice though and I probably would have continued to sleep if my mom didn't make me get up. After a while, Manda came over with Elizabeth. That was so much fun! Sadie loved Elizabeth, it was so funny to watch! My mom loves Elizabeth too and it was a lot of fun. We didn't really do anything other than sit in the living room watching my mom put up christmas decorations and watch Elizabeth chase Sadie around the house, but it was a lot of fun. Definitely am glad that I got to see my Manda for at least a little while!

Finals are coming up and I can't wait for it to be over with. I had my Spanish oral exam today and that went really well. So tomorrow I have my teaching presentation that my group is not ready for at all. But I still think that it will be fine. My teacher grades pretty easy, so I'm not too worried about it. On Friday I have my Spanish listening final and then Finals week officially starts. I just want it to be all over with. This semester sucked and I didn't do as good as I would have hoped to do this semester. I think that I'm definitely going to get a 4.0 in TE150 (teaching class), probably will be able to pull off a 4.0 in Spanish, but might get a 3.5, getting a 3.0 in English, and probably a 2.5 HOPEFULLY a 3.0 in Bio.....So I guess that's not super bad, but still, I wanted to do better.

I started my christmas shopping today and that was exciting. I ordered one of Josh's presents online, but I still need to get presents for Manda, Brian, Elizabeth, Mom & Dad, Josh's mom and dad, and I think I drew Lizzy for Josh's family, Josh's presents, and something for Keara and Jonas...I have no idea what I'm going to get them though....hmmmmmm.....

Time to get to English so I will write more later!

Went home the other weekend...It was a lot of fun. I spent pretty much the entire day with Manda, which was awesome! Definitely got in some good friends watching time. She went with me to drop off my ring at Reeds and that was super traumatizing. I feel super naked without my ring on. But that's ok because I get it back on Wednesday!

Saturday I spent time with my family and kinda helped them rake up the leaves until I went out to lunch with Jenny. It was definitely nice seeing her too! I was supposed to go visit Carly, but our schedules didn't line up right so that didn't end up happening.

I get to go home on Tuesday night for Thanksgiving. I work til 1:30 in the morning, but I'm going to leave right after I get out of work. Definitely going to call in sick to work on Wednesday because I hate my job and they are a bunch of jerks. But then I have to be back to work on Thanksgiving at 7:00 pm. That sucks. But I get to go see Rent with Manda, Brian, Kirsten, and Josh and I'm super excited about that!!!

I still have a shit load of stuff to do for my classes, but it's not that bad anymore. I have 2 papers due on Monday (one is optional, but I really need it cause it'll help my grade), and a paper due on Tuesday. Other than that, I'm good until we get back from break. Then the tough stuff really begins. I can't wait for 3 more weeks when this semester is completely over!!

SO....

Stressing out way too much for my health right now. There is always just way too much shit to do and it will never be done on time. I lost my f'in planner and now I have no idea what's due and when it's due. I know that I have like 3 papers or some shit due sometime before Thanksgiving and one exam before then too. When? Not a fucking clue. Teaching presentation = also very soon, but no idea when....I need to find my planner. It's my life! EVERYTHING goes into that thing.

And money sucks....why can't everything be free so that we didn't have to spend 90% of our time worrying about where we are going to afford everything?? I don't think that's too much to ask. ;)

Done stressing....

Things that totally make me happy!

1. Josh and mine's 3 year anniversary was on Monday...fucking awesome! :) God, I love him to death.
2. I'm going home tomorrow. I haven't been home in what seems like forever. Have to work Sat at 6, so I won't be there for long, but I'm still pumped up about it.
3. Going home means seeing Manda, Brian, adorable Elizabeth, and possibly Kirsten & Carly. Also means seeing my unbelievably cute puppies.
4. I'm a nerd and super excited that the 4th Harry Potter is coming out on the 18th. Also SUPER excited to go see Rent with wonderful people mentioned above!
5. It's halfway through November, which means less than a month til this semester is over and I have 3 weeks of nothing but bliss to do whatever the hell I want.

And on another note...I want to be done with college! I just want to get married to Josh and start our lives together. Damn having to wait 2 1/2 more years.

And I'm done ranting now.....

So I need to be better about this whole updating thing...But not too much has been going on lately.

I got facebook, because I couldn't handle people telling me to join anymore and now I'm addicted. I also got Myspace, but I don't know how to find anyone's names...so if you have it let me know or something!

Halloween was pretty boring for me, I had class until 10 p.m. There were a few people in my classes that dressed up and one guy was a whoopie cushion....and then one guy was a sperm!!! It was a little ridiculous. After all my classes I just went home and hung out with my roommates, that situation is getting a little better, but we are by no means even close to being friends so it still sucks.

I requested this weekend off of work because my parents are coming into town on Friday and everyone is going to go out to eat (me, Josh, parents, Keara, and Jonas). And also mine and Josh's 3 year anniversary is on Monday and we wanted to celebrate it. But stupid Meijer, scheduled me anyways. I was really ticked off. I found someone to cover my Friday shift and I have to go in tomorrow and ask these two other people if they would be willing to split my Saturday shift. Grrrr. I shouldn't even have to be worrying about it.

Just a few random things that made me happy this weekend...

Jenny called me at about 6 on Friday and said that she was dropping by MSU for about an hour. I was excited to see her and be able to show her around campus! Fun times! I also got to see Heather, who I hadn't seen in about 2 or so weeks. YAY!

Manda made my layout super cute and it's PINK! And now I have pictures of me and Josh for my icon and there's a pic of us in my layout. :) Thanks Manda, you're the bestest!

I also realized that I might have forgotten my checks in Muskegon, which means that I might have to make a surprise trip to Muskegon to retrieve them. So I might be able to see Manda and Jenny for a little while! YAY!

I finally got Josh his birthday presents, which I couldn't afford at his actual birthday because no job = no money. I got him beer glasses, a state sweatshirt, a new insence holder, a chicken calender, and as a joke, ingredients to make pumpkin pie. The funny thing is, I think he liked the pie the best. hehe I love that guy, I can't wait to marry him!

Final thing that made me happy....THE LIONS WON! YAY! Their record is now 3-3, which isn't too shady for them! YAY!

I went to Mount Pleasant last night to visit Josh's older brother, Nate and his wife Dawn. They just had their fourth baby last friday so we went to see the cute new baby. They named him Simon Frances and he's so adorable. :) Tiny...but cute! It was a lot of fun. Dawn and I pretty much just hung out the entire time while the boys did their thing aka...get wasted! Fun times, fun times!

On a completely different random note...I got all of Keara's wedding pictures and am in the process of scanning them all and they should be up soon! GREAT WEEKEND!

I went home early this weekend, on Thursday afternoon so that I could spend the day with Manda. We had a lot of fun finishing season 6 of Friends. I love that show sooo much! But I love Manda more! ♥ Brian made me a super great salad with a bunch of yummies in it! Then I went home and had yummy spaghetti with my parents and watched Alias! YAY...I missed watching that show so much!

Friday I went shopping with wonderful Jenny and I got cute pants and shoes. We went to lunch at Egg Roll House and that was way yummy!!!! I loved spending time with my Jenny...too bad we only could hang out for a little bit. Then I went over to Manda's and we ran some errands and I went to Michigan's Adventure to pick up my coat for working a bazillion hours over the summer. Then Manda highlighted my hair and now it looks super hot!!!

Saturday was Manda and Brian's wedding reception and it was so nice. Everything turned out so well and I had a great time. Manda looked gorgeous and Brian was cute! I ended up spending the entire day with them and it was awesome!!!

Now I'm back in East Lansing and can't wait to go back home to spend time with Manda and Jenny again...I wish this weekend lasted a lot longer than 3 days! :(

Back to school work...I have way too much stuff to do!
